Players Hockey Club, located just outside Nottingham city centre currently run 4 mens teams in the Midlands League and provide access to Veterans, Mixed, Indoor hockey and also have a growing Academy section.

League matches are played on Saturdays at the Highfields Sports Club and training is held on a Tuesday evening 7 - 830. Highfields boasts an international standard water base pitch plus 1 and a half sand filled pitches together with onsite changing, refreshments and parking.

When the original John Players social club was closed and all ties severed with the company the club embarked on an ambitious lottery funded bid with Crimson Rambler and Beeston hockey clubs amongst others to build the current Highfields Sports Club.
